United Nations Calls on PowerPhone

The United Nations contracted PowerPhone to assist in its $1 billion safety and security restructing project.
The United Nations Safety and Security Service recently contracted PowerPhone, Inc. to conduct an extensive command and control center assessment.

The assessment was part of a $1 billion dollar safety and security restructuring effort by the United Nations.

Over six weeks time, PowerPhone evaluators observed a wide range of operating procedures and systems at the United Nations World Headquarters in New York City. Perimter security, closed circuit television monitoring, staffing levels, systems management, and information security were all assessed.

The PowerPhone assessment team included Chris Salafia, the President and CEO of PowerPhone; George Deucher, PowerPhone's Instructor Corps leader and primary assessor for the United Nations project; Patrick Tripodi, a PowerPhone instructor and recognized expert in fire service operations; and Jerry Turk, PowerPhone's Technical Development Manager.
