Phil is retired from public safety, with over 27 years law enforcement experience. A highly sought after instructor and speaker, Mr. Salafia has personally conducted hundreds of crisis communications training programs for clients including the City of Santa Fe, the City of St. Louis, the United States Marine Corps, the Government of Costa Rica, and hundreds of other agencies around the world. Actively involved in researching emerging technologies, he has visited control centers internationally to study the latest trends in emergency communications. He is the co-inventor of Computer Aided Call Handling (CACH), a revolutionary approach to emergency and non-emergency call taking, and Incident Linked Multimedia (ILM), the first system that intelligently processes cell phone multimedia messages sent to 9-1-1 centers. Mr. Salafia holds a U.S. patent on Call Handler Systems and Methods and is the co-author of several patents relating to emergency communications response systems. He has served as a consultant to the United Nations Safety & Security Service and the Government of China. He has been interviewed by MSNBC, Good Morning America, CNN, CBS Evening News and a host of other media outlets. His company is recognized as the nations leading dispatch trainer, having trained over 150,000 9-1-1 professionals worldwide. Chris holds a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Bentley University.

Jerry Turk Vice President, Training and Technology
As PowerPhones Vice President of Training and Technology, Jerry Turk is responsible for building instructional modules and technology solutions that are at the forefront of emergency communications and response. He is the co-inventor of Computer Aided Call Handling (CACH), a revolutionary approach to emergency and non-emergency call taking, and Incident Linked Multimedia (ILM), the first system that intelligently processes cell phone multimedia messages sent to 9-1-1 centers. He has served on a number of professional committees, including the National Emergency Number Association QA/QI Standards Workgroup. Prior to joining PowerPhone, Mr. Turk worked as a civilian project manager for the Dorset Police Headquarters in Dorset, England. Before joining the police, he worked for 20 years in the ambulance service as an EMT, control manager and communications systems manager.

Eric Esfahanian Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Eric brings over a decade of sales, management and business development experience to his position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. His responsibilities include growing revenue for PowerPhone education, software and professional services business along with strategic alliances and overall sales and marketing leadership. Prior to joining PowerPhone, Eric established a successful career with technology firms, Hewlett-Packard and EMC Corp. At H-P, Eric helped lead an emerging software business group where he was instrumental in developing early accounts, driving channel strategy, and new product introductions. His clients included Fortune 50 companies in financial services, high technology, manufacturing and healthcare. Eric holds a Masters of Business Administration from Babson College along with a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.

Marjorie Acker Director of Business Development
As PowerPhones Director of Business Development, Marjorie Acker works with PowerPhones customers, management team and instructor corps to develop and deliver training solutions and technology products designed to advance the field of emergency call handling and dispatch. Marjorie was a 27-year veteran of the Connecticut State Police (CSP) before retiring in 2003. She was in the first CSP training class to graduate women troopers; was the first woman trooper to hold the ranks of Sergeant, Master Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and Lieutenant Colonel; and is the only woman who has held the position of Legislative Liaison. As the commanding officer for the Office of Administrative Services, she was responsible for CSP support functions including Information Technology; and Selections and Training as well as developing projects which included shepherding the CSP through Y2K, implementing the countrys first automated gun registration system, and negotiating and implementing a $46 million telecommunications system. Marjorie holds a Masters in Management, a B.A. in English and an A.S. in Law Enforcement.

George Deuchar Director of Training
As leader of PowerPhone's Instructor Corps, George Deuchar is responsible for developing course curricula and designing new programs for emergency telecommunicators. George is a retired 26 year veteran from the Washington Twp. Police Department of Morris County New Jersey. During his law enforcement career he served in numerous capacities including Patrol, Investigations, Communications, Community Service, and Administration. He is a graduate of William Paterson University with a BS degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Fairleigh Dickinson University where he earned a Masters Degree in Administrative Science. He has been training law enforcement personnel as a PowerPhone Trainer since 1995 and currently serves as PowerPhones Director of Training. He travels extensively nationwide conducting training seminars related to Suicide Intervention and Suicide Callers, Liability, Crisis Negotiations and Communications, Critical Incident Stress and Stress Management, and Domestic Violence.

Patrick Lanzetta, MD, FACEP Medical Director
Possessing over 20 years of hands-on experience in emergency medicine and EMS, Dr. Lanzetta is a practicing, board certified Emergency Physician. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP). A Review Physician for the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CASS) and an appointee to the New Hampshire State Legislative Committee on Trauma, Dr. Lanzetta is recognized for establishing the first and only emergency department based ALS service in Northern New England. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and has served as a Field Surgeon and Emergency Physician with units around the world. As Medical Director for PowerPhone, Inc., Dr. Lanzetta is responsible for overseeing the PowerPhone Emergency Medical Dispatch curriculum and training corps, as well as acting as liaison with EMS officials on the local, state, regional and national levels.
